Failure to do so can result in significant fines and/or imprisonment. Regular testing and routine servicing will ensure that your emergency safety showers and eye wash units continue to operate effectively during their lifetime, ensuring this essential life-saving equipment operates perfectly when needed.

If your safety showers or eye wash units become broken, don’t wait for your service. Hughes also offer a repairs system outside of our scheduled services. Simply contact us using the form opposite, ensuring you provide as much detail as possible along with details of any parts that may need replacing. We will then contact you to organise for an engineer to visit your site.

On-site Legionella testing

Hughes are now able to offer the option of on-site legionella testing of your safety showers and eye wash units as part of your regular service. Accurate, reliable results can be provided in just 25 minutes allowing for a speedy response plan if necessary.

Weekly Activation

In addition to regular servicing we recommend conducting a weekly activation test, as specified in International and European Standards.
